When I changed up my eating habits, breakfast was one of the hardest meals to prep. Waffles are a fun and simple breakfast or brunch idea, but I don’t make them the traditional way. I’ve learned that what you eat in the morning sets the tone for your day. If you consume a large meal loaded in saturated fats, added sugars, and processed meats, you’re likely to feel sluggish and tired. On the flip side, if you choose a healthy, home cooked breakfast with lots of fruits, healthy fats, quality protein and minimal added sugars, you’ll feel satiated and energized for hours.
